So tomorrow starts the first day of Impact 195. I am full of a different kinds of emotions. Excited for sure but anxious as well. Anticipation of whats in store. The list is endless. My goal to update on regular basis has not gone as planned however it is still my goal.
Let's see. So many great things have happened and to think and write about them all. The holidays were wonderful. I am so blessed to have the people in my life. Being around family and friends during the holidays makes them more special. And the begining of a New Year as well. I am looking forward to this year. It has already started out so postive and peaceful, I can only imagine what else will happen.
My roommate and I moved into a new apartment. Much quieter than the last with less added stress, which I hope will allow more studing of the word for me and my roommate more studing for school .
As the minutes and hours tick away till the start of tomorrow, I sit here with smiles, knowing that at the end of this journey will be filled with continous blessings.
Thank you to everyone who has help sponsor me and have sent many prayers my way.
Your Friend in Christ,

When we give Christ Glory!
Well another week has gone by and I am one week closer to my start date. This week has been full of testimonies to Jesus.
My friend had found out that her unborn baby didn't have a heart rate. She was induced and gave birth to a little girl. This precious little angel is now sitting with Jesus.
Now this whole process was devastating to many. But the greatest thing was how this family, despite of the sad news, continued to give praise and glory to Jesus. I sit here in awe of how this family has handled everything and how no matter what happens they continue to show the love of Jesus to one another and to others. Even their little 3 year, when hearing the news, made a comment on how great it was that this little baby was with Jesus. What a testamony.
This got me to thinking of how we, even myself, handle situations that Jesus puts in our path. Do we take it and what ever the outcome is continue to give glory to Jesus, or do we stray away from the outcome and forget who Jesus is.
I feel that this whole week has been a blessing and an eye opener. My goal for this next week, is to not only give praise to Jesus for the good he has done in my life but also in tough situations where the end result may not of been what I wanted. Jesus has a plan for all of us and he does not give us anything that we can not handle.
As I leave you tonight, I ask that you pray for this family. ( Names not included for protection of privacy).n Please pray for peace and comfort over them.
May you all have a great weekend and a blessed week!!

Well so far this week has been amazing. Not only with good news but life in general just seems so peaceful. As a sit back and reflect on every thing I can't help but smile. We are so blessed to be loved by such an amazing God.
I am so excited for this new journey and can not wait to see what will happen. But it says when doing Gods will the enemy will attack. And yes it is true. Many situations have been placed in my path this week that have made me want to react negtively but we need to get our shield and sword and remember instead of reacting negatively we need to show compassion and love to others.
I am excited for this weekend. All five services at The Rock we will be praying over the team that will be going to the Philipians next week. Please take a minute and pray for them. Ask God for protection and strength as they set out on this mission and pray that many will come to know Jesus.
I can not believe that in just a few weeks I will be able to go out and share the love of Jesus with others.
As I leave you tonight here is a great verse to ponder. It really says it all.
May you all have a bless night and weekend!!

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord, is everlasting strength. - Isaiah 26: 3-4

How it began!!
So I have been wanted a positive focus in my life. I have always known Jesus and have had my ups and downs when it came to following him. Over the past 1 1/2 things have been amazing I have given everything to Jesus. I have seen Jesus work wonders on peoples hearts, mind and overall life.
I attend the Rock Church San Diego and they have a 9 month disclpeship course call Impact 195. And yes Jan 3rd I will be starting. I am not only excited to learn more about the word of Jesus, but I am excited to see what other great things he will be doing in my life and others.
So why Impact 195 you ask? Earlier in the year there was a lot of stress placed in my life and the life of my good friend Jenny. She asked God for a change and got excepted to Impact 195. Since she has been with Impact God has done wonders. I have seen Jesus take a seed and bloom it into a flower. She told me about Impact and what amazing things it had done for her. But I wasn't sure that I was ready to make that big of a commitment to Jesus. Months went by and Impact 195 talk was every where. The more I heard the more my heart longed to be apart of learning more about Jesus and do his works. But how was I going to fit this in my busy work and school schedule. After months of praying Jesus made it clear. " This is where I want you. I have bigger plans for you." Ok. Jesus how is this going to effect work. I have worked so hard to get to where I am and to throw it all away? And his message was clear.
Impact 195 decided to have evening classes, which ment keep my job and still do the discipleship course. But what about all the time off needed for the Wilderness Trips and Missions Trips. Once again his message was clear. I was to ask work for the time off without pay. Well my job would never support me doing this. And as loud as trumpets are " Ask child, I will do the rest."
Arranging a meeting with my boss was nerve racking. Scare of rejection, I told Jesus, " Ok I am asking." To my surprise my boss said " Wow this sounds like a great program, get me some more information." Three weeks later my boss said " I will support you with this, I think this will be great for your growth." And the rest is history.
As I prepared in excitement with this next month, I am in awe of Jesus unconditional love he has for me. I am blessed to be where I am today and am ready to give it all in Jesus's name.
As you travel with me, I pray that Jesus will use this blog to impact you and others around you as he has me. Sometimes we climb the mountain and feel stuck when we are at the ledge, but taking that leap of faith is the ultimate answer.
May god bless you today and always.
